The Compassion Collective: A Community-Driven Mental Health Initiative

The Compassion Collective is an exciting new community interest company (CIC) aimed at providing accessible, low-cost counselling services to individuals aged 16 and over in West Yorkshire. This innovative project seeks to address the growing need for mental health support by creating a network of dedicated professionals willing to donate their time and expertise.

Our Vision

At the heart of The Compassion Collective is a commitment to creating a mentally healthier and more resilient community. By removing financial barriers and embedding services within local communities, we strive to foster a sense of belonging, understanding, and empowerment among those we serve.

How You Can Contribute

Qualified Counsellors and Supervisors

We are seeking compassionate professionals to donate 1-2 hours per week or fortnight to help establish this vital community initiative. While initial payments may be modest, your contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of those in need

Flexible Service Delivery

Counsellors will have the option to provide services in-person, online, or by telephone, allowing for greater flexibility and accessibility

Client Fees and Reinvestment

Our goal is to keep client rates under £20 per session, with plans to reduce fees further as the project grows. All proceeds will be reinvested into:

  • Expanding services

  • Supporting staff

  • Reducing counselling fees

  • Strengthening the underinvested mental health sector

Get Involved

We welcome interest from:
