Areas We Can Explore Together
Life's challenges can feel overwhelming as we try to balance work and personal wellbeing. Whether you're dealing with stress, relationship difficulties, or processing major life changes, these struggles affect how we see ourselves. As you work through questions of identity and purpose, build confidence, and heal from past experiences, remember that it's perfectly normal to need support along the way.
Your First Step
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. That's why I offer a free 15-minute consultation - it's a chance for us to meet, for you to ask any questions, and to see if we might work well together. There's no pressure or obligation.
Sessions are currently available both online and in-person in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Whether you're ready to book a consultation or just have questions, I'm here to help.

Welcome
Hi, I'm Richard. As a BACP-registered therapist, I create a space where you can truly be yourself - where your experiences, thoughts, and feelings are heard without judgment. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply feeling that something isn't quite right, I'm here to walk alongside you.
How I Work
My approach draws from both person-centered and integrative therapy, which means our work together will be shaped by what feels right for you. Having transitioned from a career in HR, I deeply understand the complexities of professional life, burnout, and the courage it takes to make meaningful changes.
I believe therapy isn't about being "fixed" - it's about understanding yourself better and finding your own path forward. Sometimes that means exploring difficult emotions, other times it's about discovering new perspectives or ways of being.
